Eroticism of Nature: Site Specific Works

Freshly thrown vessels collide with the environment to alter their form. Gravity is at play and clay naturally submits. A rich relationship develops between the two opposing elements. I consider permanence verses temporal, smooth surfaces verses textured, and control verses submission. Conceptually and viscerally, the eroticism of nature becomes the dominant theme in these site specific works.
