“Jodi is a thoughtful, engaging teacher, teaching me just the right amount each time to build up my skills and not overwhelm a newbie. Bonus benefit —My family and I get to eat from plates I made with my own hands.”

Hooked after one lesson

“It’s clear that Jodi brings a wealth of teaching experience to her private lessons. She provided clear explanations of techniques, gave easy-to-follow instructions, and fielded all my beginner questions with enthusiasm. So much knowledge was squeezed into one lesson! We explored multiple techniques and saw the process through to finished pieces.

You will be welcomed into a warm and inviting studio, given time and space to play, and are likely to become hooked on an art practice that is both relaxing and productive at the same time.”

— Scout O. (Private Lesson with a friend)

“Jodi's intro lessons were fantastic — Jodi is attentive, supportive, and knowledgable. The bring-a-friend price is a uniquely lovely deal, which is great because the lifelong passion it inspires will surely add up over time! Working with clay is like playing with a solid, a liquid, and time itself. Highly recommended for anyone interested in making things and exploring what your hands can produce. You can even work with Jodi to bring your own glazes!”
